REPORT FROM THE SOUTHERN ZONE: OLA provides water and medical care to the residents of Gumi Eldalo district.
(March 23rd, 2022 / Oromia National Media – Arraata Biyyoolessa Oromiyaa)
OLA’s southern forces have instituted a new program to aid the residents of Gumi Eldalo district who have been suffering from a drought and lack of basic services. The OLA facilitated the transport of water tanks into the region in order to provide desperately needed drinking water. It has also set up a clinic to provide basic medical care.
As the humanitarian situation in southern Oromia worsens due to the drought and state persecution, such programs will become more and more necessary in order to avert disaster. The OLA will always stand with the people in their time of need.
